Нейродермит или атопический дерматит – это иммунонейроаллергическое, наследственное заболевание, которое характеризуется хроническим рецидивирующим заболеванием кожи и проявляется в виде сильного зуда кожи с различными высыпаниями.
Нейродермит является очень распространенным и часто тяжело протекающим видом дерматоза. Исследования показывают, что он встречается чаще среди молодых людей, причем количество болеющих обоих полов приблизительно одинаково независимо от расы.
Есть несколько теорий о происхождении нейродермита. Одна из них – неврогенная, которая считает это заболевание неврозом кожи. Об этом свидетельствуют характерные обострения нейродермита во время отрицательных эмоций, при нервных и психических травмах. Это заболевание считается нарушением способности организма адаптироваться при стрессовых ситуациях. Другая теория склоняется к аллергической причине заболевания, которая часто преобразуется из детского диатеза. Эту теорию доказывает повышенная чувствительность к некоторым лекарствам и химическим веществам вместе со способностью сочетаться с иными аллергическими болезнями. Целесообразнее говорить о двойственном происхождении нейродермита.
